How to survive the winter

The question i ask myself every year is "how can i survive this winter healthy and be in a good shape next summer?"

The bad weather and the cold dark evenings doesn't make it easier to go outside for a good run. And i personally don't feel comfortable running outside alone when it is dark. So how i'm gonna do that during the winter? 

This morning i asked myself this question again and i decided to go for a run, it was a bit dark and rainy (normally if it's raining i choose for a workout in my room). And guess what? It was the best start of my day! The rain isn't so bad if you run, your body is still warm and is feels so fresh with the cold water on your face. And be honest, how good do you feel after a workout? So why doing it before you go to sleep, if it also can in the early morning?
