Who are we? Thanks for asking.

Like you we are tea lovers, tea drinkers and tea aficionados.
For years, we have been creating our own tea combinations for personal consumption- with benefits!. We found that our blends assisted weight loss, digestion, energy levels and relaxation.
With a myriad of of tea 'types' out there, it’s almost impossible for the common tea drinker to know what to sip on, when and why! So we decided to share our secret blends with you… and thus "Your Tea" was born.
All of our unique tea blends are derived from Traditional Chinese Medicine principles.
We’ve made it simple for you to be kind to your body - after all, you only have the one…

How does Your Tea ACTUALLY help you?
You may be wondering, “how on earth does this mug of warm liquid help me?”.
Sensible line of thought.
Teas perform several different functions.
There are teas for calming the stomach, teas for cleansing out toxins, teas for purifying, teas for soaking up fluid, teas for aiding nausea, teas for increasing energy, teas for aiding immunity...you get idea – the list goes on.

Specific tea combinations are used to target a symptom that the body is enduring as a result of lifestyle, diet choices and other influences such as stress and emotion.
In a nutshell, we are as healthy and pure as the food we put into our body.

A diet of fatty foods, starches, alcohol and sugars – will result in a body that is prone to excess fat, cellulite and overall poor functionality.

Tea aids in restoring the natural balance in your body – before we messed it up!
There is an art in knowing what your body is feeling and being able to reach for the right tea to help it. Once you understand it, you won’t have to reach for that chocolate frog when you’re stressed, or pop a few panadol for that headache.

Time to try the tiny tea.
It arrived yesterday at my place so i can't say a lot about the results. But the tea tasted a bit like the ground outside (if that make sense) haha. But with a piece of lemon it is drinkable. I drink it three times a day and i have to say that every time i have to drink it i'm very excited! I have a lot of energy now and the tea is such a good motivation to start a healthy lifestyle.

How to survive the winter

The question i ask myself every year is "how can i survive this winter healthy and be in a good shape next summer?"

The bad weather and the cold dark evenings doesn't make it easier to go outside for a good run. And i personally don't feel comfortable running outside alone when it is dark. So how i'm gonna do that during the winter? 

This morning i asked myself this question again and i decided to go for a run, it was a bit dark and rainy (normally if it's raining i choose for a workout in my room). And guess what? It was the best start of my day! The rain isn't so bad if you run, your body is still warm and is feels so fresh with the cold water on your face. And be honest, how good do you feel after a workout? So why doing it before you go to sleep, if it also can in the early morning?

Your body deserves the best

Motivation wall

When i started to make my body healthy by eating clean food and doing workouts / cardio i decided to make this motivation wall on tumblr. I only posted the pictures that motivate me to keep going. Specially in the beginning, then it is the hardest to not giving up. 

The first month was for me the hardest, in the first week it is fun and you are so motivated. But when the weather is bad or you have other things to do then it is easy to say "i will go tomorrow". And especially in the beginning you want to do that a lot because the workouts aren't in your system. So when i even taught about "i will go later" i took my laptop and looked at my tumblr, and really it helped me to get off the couch.

The winter is not always the best time of the year here in Holland. It is cold, mostly rain, grey sad weather. That's why i always try to escape around Christmas. It is such a wonderful time and it makes the winter so much better. 

2 years ago i went to London just before Christmas and i liked it so much, all the old-fashioned pub's, the accent of the people, the big Harrods and the little tea-houses. The whole city is so magical. So when i woke up and heard the rain on my roof this morning, i decided to book a little city trip to London before Christmas this year. I can't wait to go!

Health

What is health exactly?

People think it is about eating good and train their ass out. But i think health is something different. Health for me is feeling great! And everybody should feel great. Of course eating the right food is healthy, it makes your body feel powerful. But you have to accept your body first before you can feel great. 

You can be 'big' but eating vegetables and fruit, or be 'skinny' and eating junkfood. So i think the size of your body doesn't say anything. I know that it is not easy for a lot of people to accept how they are. They feel to big or not beautiful like others. But hear this: Do you think those people who you think they are beautiful doesn't think the same? If you see a beautiful girl walking and think "o i wish i had her hair" or "i want to be like her" who said she feel good about herself? If she sees you she probably think the same about you. Because people only see the things that they don't have but forget the beautiful things they do have.

And that is what i want to say, go to the mirror and think honest about the beautiful things about you, and make them more beautiful instead of put energy in the things you don't have. If you can do that then your a big step further to become healthy.
